The hilt consists of a horny hilt with a horny handle wrapped with woven wire and a steel butt. The lower part of the hilt is covered by a profiled sleeve, the back of the hilt is covered by a bar, passing into a rounded elongated head with a three-stage oval protrusion. There is a flush rivet in it, which fastens the head to the blade shank. The head is connected to the shackle of the garda, which passes into a cross and a slotted cup formed by three additional side shackles. At the top of the middle shackle is a hole for a sling, the rounded drop-shaped end of the crossguard is bent downwards.
