Dear collectors and visitors of the antique weapon site, we present to you the German SA Dagger of the Third Reich by Anton Wingen Solingen RZM M7/51.

Handle: Made of wood, brown in color, with strongly curved contours. The upper part of the handle curves downward and is conical in cross-section. The tang of the blade passes through it, secured at the top with a round nut. On the front side of the handle, at the top, there is a round enamel emblem, and in the center of the handle is an engraved image of an eagle with outstretched wings, holding a swastika in its claws.

Crossguard: Enlarged and inverted reflection of the upper part of the handle. Initially, all metal parts of the hilt were made of polished nickel silver, but during the war, to reduce costs, they were made from cheaper metals and nickel-plated.

On later SA daggers, the Gau code was no longer marked on the crossguard.

Blade: Straight, double-edged, flat, and diamond-shaped, tapering smoothly to the tip, polished. The front side bears the inscription in Gothic script “Alles für Deutschland” — “Everything for Germany.” The ricasso features the code RZM7/51, as well as the trademark of the German company “Anton Wingen Solingen” in the form of a knight.

Scabbard: Made of metal, painted brown. The knife fittings are metallic, nickel-plated, and are attached to the scabbard with four screws. The scabbard fittings consist of a throat and a tip with curved relief edges. The throat has a movable ring for attaching a shoulder strap.

Historical Note on the German SA Dagger Third Reich Anton Wingen Solingen RZM M7/51:

The SA dagger was a symbol of the Sturmabteilung (SA), the Nazi Party’s paramilitary organization, which played a significant role in the early years of the Third Reich. These daggers were often given as gifts to loyal party members and were a sign of allegiance to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime.
