Dear collectors of antique weapons and guests of the site, I present to your attention the Official Sword of the Kingdom of Denmark and Norway, dated 1819–1903. It is available for gifts and for collecting.
Blade: made of steel, straight, single-edged with one wide fuller, the fighting end is double-edged, and the cross-section is pentagonal. The blade is unadorned and covered with a pleasant deep patina.
Hilt: consists of the grip and guard. The guard has one protective quillon that smoothly transitions into the cross of the grip, the far end of which is relief and bent down. The quillon is decorated with relief floral ornamentation.
In the center of the cross is a decorative oval-shaped shield. The shield is adorned with a relief image of the coat of arms of Denmark and Norway, with a crown above the coat of arms.

The pommel of the grip is relief, shaped like an amphora. The grip consists of two smooth mother-of-pearl scales. All parts of the hilt are made of brass and gilded.
Scabbard: made of leather, with a brass fitting consisting of a throat with a pin and a tip with a flattened ball.
